"Changing the Heart and Mind"
Know yourself and be yourself at all times. Who are you?
Breathe deeply all of the time. Inhale for a count of four and release slowly. Controlling
your breathing can improve your health as it gets more oxygen into your system!
How do you stand? Are your shoulders back and stomach in? Posture is equally as important
as breathing for maintaining your health.
Try not to criticize others; speak of necessity, but leave out motive.
Have you drank green tea? A cup a day can keep some cancers away.
Do you consume less than 1ooo mg of salt each day?
Being spiritual is more important that being religious. Religion is manmade, shallow,
actually from false roots; spiritual is being one on one with the creator of the universe
24 hours a day.
What kind of soap do you use? Try a 100 pure oatmeal soap or aloe vera/olive oil soap.
Many commercial soaps contain chemicals that can harm you.
Spend a half hour a day thinking about what you need to change in yourself, and what
skills you desire to have.
Solve problems as quickly as possible. If the other party refuses, walk away. Anger is
linked to heart disease and other ailments. Don't let someone else kill you by keeping you
angry at them.
Try to stretch every major muscle in your body at least every day.
Depressed? Take more time to walk in nature; breathe deeply; stretch out when you feel the
worse; hug an animal; avoid conflict; and spend time writing in a personal journal how you
feel; maybe even a poem expressing your emotions.
Empower your vocabulary by learning new words, one a day if possible.
READ from a variety of sources. The public library is a good friend waiting to enlighten
you! www.bibliofind.com and www.bookfinder.com are great search engines to find new and used copies of every
book ever in print.
Don't allow any doctor to over medicate you. How much of that prescription medicine do you
really understand? What are the side effects? Always ask your doctor a lot of questions.
If he/she does not
want to answer, find a new doctor.
Dreams are potential goals for your future. All things are possible! |
